Every cleared catalog makes the shared network stronger.

The goal is not to replace Spotify, Apple Music, radio, DJs, distribution, or performance-rights organizations. It is to give PivotWrk artists an additional owned platform where discovery, direct fan action, and qualified on-site listening can work together.

Rights and takedown control

Music remains private until reviewed. A replacement copy can be submitted without exposing the master, and PivotWrk can immediately remove a track from the public catalog while preserving the audit history.

Future partner reporting

DJ, radio, venue, livestream, or partner usage can be submitted as evidence. Those reports stay evidence-only or held until the source, licensing path, reporting basis, and financial eligibility are validated.

Authorization and review

Your private upload does not automatically become public.

The network uses a direct-rights beta workflow because an artist-controlled, selectable on-demand player has different licensing requirements from a qualifying noninteractive internet-radio service.

  1. The artist or authorized rightsholder completes the private Rights & Royalties intake.
  2. Master ownership, composition administration, collaborators, splits, samples, beat licenses, territories, and direct-stream authority are reviewed.
  3. An approved artist uploads a private streaming copy; the upload automatically enters the PivotWrk media database and moderation queue.
  4. PivotWrk reviews the audio copy, metadata, rights status, and authorization snapshot. Uploading alone never publishes the track.
  5. Owner approval activates the audio copy, media-library record, and public player eligibility together.
  6. On-platform playback is measured under the active qualification policy. Repeats, short listens, privacy-limited sessions, inactive rights, and invalid traffic may be pending, held, or excluded.
  7. Any estimated artist share stays held until revenue exists and the licensing, financial policy, statements, tax/KYC, payout account, minimum balance, and owner approval requirements are complete.

What you authorize

Permission must cover both the recording and the song.

Before PivotWrk can publish a selectable track, the rights review must address the sound recording and the underlying musical composition, plus every contributor or restriction that affects digital playback.

Sound recording rights

The master owner or authorized representative must permit PivotWrk to store a private delivery copy and make the approved recording available through the network player in the approved territories and term.

Composition rights

The songwriter, publisher, administrator, or other authorized party must have a valid path for the composition rights implicated by the planned service. Master ownership alone does not clear the song itself.

Samples, beats, features, and collaborators

Samples, leased beats, producers, featured artists, photographers, labels, distributors, and other contributors must be disclosed and cleared where required. A pending or blocked item keeps the track out of the public player.

How artist payments develop

Qualified spins can support a future artist share—but no flat pay-per-play promise is made.

  • Candidate play: a playback session began.
  • Qualified play: the session met the active listening and anti-repeat policy while all rights and audio gates remained active.
  • Unvalued or held: the play is recorded, but revenue allocation, licensing costs, fraud review, or financial policy is incomplete.
  • Statemented: an approved accounting period assigns the artist share and applicable rights obligations.
  • Payable: the statement, tax/KYC, payout account, minimum threshold, and owner approvals are complete.
  • Paid: the authorized transfer completed and is recorded separately from the estimate.

The amount available for artists can depend on actual network revenue, direct-license terms, composition and recording obligations, fraud exclusions, platform costs, territory, reporting period, and the approved financial policy. PivotWrk does not guarantee a fixed rate, minimum number of spins, or payout.

DJ and radio evidence

Report it, then verify it.

An artist can submit a DJ mix, radio, venue, livestream, or partner-player report with the date, outlet, program, territory, audience estimate, and supporting link. A report is not automatically converted into a payable spin.

Privacy

Anonymous anti-fraud identifiers—not fan identity profiles.

When permitted, the player hashes limited browser/session identifiers to enforce replay rules. Privacy opt-outs are honored; sessions without a usable anonymous hash may remain held rather than being counted as qualified.

Withdrawal

Public availability can be stopped.

The artist or authorized representative may request a hold or takedown. PivotWrk can immediately disable the public copy while preserving historical play, statement, and audit records that must remain accurate.

Rights first. Private upload second. Public network after approval.
